Since joining the Dewavrin Cosmetics group in 1998, ALPOL Cosmétique has developed more than just expertise: it has created a true signature. Each project is the outcome of a well-orchestrated choreography, where rigor and ingenuity work hand-in-hand. From a simple manufacturer, we have evolved into a strategic partner, supporting major skincare brands both in France and internationally.
Today, we are taking a new step by reimagining our brand platform to fully reflect what drives us: trust, sharing, determination, ingenuity and excellence. We quickly realized that CSR could not be limited to the environmental aspect: it must be fully integrated into the company’s overall strategy and be a key component of our quality management system. Today, CSR at ALPOL Cosmétique is a unifying project where success hinges on the involvement of each team member. This is, in fact, one of the fundamental principles of the company. The company aims to fully integrate its CSR values into its relationships with stakeholders. Without imposing its choices, ALPOL Cosmétique is committed to sharing its convictions and being an active partner in the CSR transition by offering concrete solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client.”

Ensuring the growth of our team members
Throughout the year, we implement concrete actions to engage and raise awareness among our teams about social and environmental issues. Among our initiatives, we have organized plantings on our site, food collections for local associations, and escape games to raise awareness about combating sexism in the workplace. We have also launched the “biodiversity mural,” an initiative aimed at promoting awareness and commitment to preserving our environment. These actions demonstrate our commitment to creating a responsible and supportive work environment.

Buy responsibly
In line with our commitment to reducing environmental impact and achieving excellence for our clients, we have initiated a process to develop responsible purchasing, focused on our raw materials, which are central to our business. This initiative reflects our dedication to selecting suppliers and raw materials that adhere to ethical, social, and environmental standards, ensuring we offer increasingly sustainable products while maintaining the quality and integrity of our formulations.

Local anchoring
Each year, ALPOL Cosmétique partners with local stakeholders to support the social and solidarity economy network in our region.
- Organized an event at our facilities with the association “De l’Ombre à la Lumière” on International Women’s Rights Day, including a donation proportional to the number of female employees at ALPOL Cosmétique to the association.
- Donated food collected from employees to the Ambérieux en Bugey branch of Secours Populaire, along with safety footwear.
- Donations to the Château-Gaillard school fund.

Reducing our environmental impact
Reducing our carbon footprint: Since 2022, ALPOL Cosmétique has diligently measured its carbon emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3. To address climate challenges, we have implemented a plan to reduce our emissions, aligned with the scientific goals of the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).
Waste valorization: In 2021, we conducted a comprehensive audit of our waste streams. Currently, 45% of our waste is recycled, and we aim to identify new recycling channels by 2028 to increase the proportion of recycled waste.
Additionally, we have implemented actions to reuse some of our waste internally or with local partners:
- All our IBC tanks are sold to firefighters, farmers, or residents,
- The laboratory R&D pill jars used for stability tests are emptied, washed, and reused.
- In the manufacturing workshop, drums, buckets, and cans are also washed and dried to be reused during the weighing of raw materials.

The Dewavrin Cosmetics Foundation
Since 2022, the Dewavrin Cosmetics group and its subsidiaries have consolidated their sponsorship initiatives under a corporate foundation to enhance their impact. The various companies have united around shared philanthropic goals, focusing on health and the welfare of vulnerable individuals, as well as youth entrepreneurship and in underprivileged neighborhoods.
ALPOL Cosmétique actively participates in the endowment and governance of the fund. This initiative extends beyond mere philanthropy; it aims to develop sustained partnerships with the supported associations by encouraging our employees to engage in skills-based volunteering.
Here is an overview of the recent projects supported:

Project EKOFODA with Entrepreneurs du Monde
It aims to combat child malnutrition in certain regions of Togo by enhancing the skills of producers in agroecological practices to develop more nutritious crops and supply school canteens with healthy and quality products.

Program ENTREPRENEURS IN THE CITY
It aims to help young entrepreneurs from QPV turn their ideas into businesses. The program supports them in developing entrepreneurship fundamentals, exploring the target market, challenging the project, and building the business plan. It enables integration into a collective of entrepreneurs.

Socio-aesthetic project with IKAMBERE
It aims to support women who have arrived in France after a migration journey and are living with a chronic illness (HIV, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure). It offers them a welcoming place to reclaim their bodies and their stories, accept their illness, and care for themselves with the help of numerous professionals.
